Islam and World Religions
The new religious movements and new spiritualities are not the only religious alternatives found on the American landscape. The world religions, including Islam, Buddhism, and Hinduism, are making their presence felt throughout the United States.
The staff of the Western Institute for Intercultural Studies can present practical seminars for your church group that not only help you understand the beliefs and practices of these world religions, in summary form in general, or in more depth in seminars on each of the particular world religions. We can also provide suggestions regarding creative missions approaches that can be implemented by individuals, as well as the local church in missions ministry.
This presentation can be presented in a variety of formats to meet the needs of your church group.
Hosting a Seminar on World Religions
The fee for this one-day training of three hours is $1000 which includes a copy of the presentation handout. In addition, interested churches need to cover our travel expenses. Please contact us to schedule a training event, or to discuss other presentation options.
